Privacy notice
This notice explains the fate of contact details and store facts typed into our quote form: how long they are kept and how to get them erased. Dealership records are not covered because they never come to us.

The business responsible
Sell Dealership Data (selldealershipdata.com) is run by Joe Trewick trading as Grub Leads, which is responsible for your personal data. You can contact us at support@grubleads.com.
Sell Dealership Data is a matching service. We do not do the work ourselves. We introduce you to a buyer, who pays us for the introduction.
Details the form keeps
When you use the quote form we collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
- the details you give about the job, such as size, use, budget and timing
- your IP address, the page you sent the form from, and the wording you agreed to
The purpose
We use your details to find a buyer who can help with your request. We rely on your consent, which you give when you send the form.
We then contact you to tell you which firm we have found. We only pass your details to that firm after you tell us you are happy for us to. If we cannot find a firm within a reasonable time, we tell you and delete your request.
If you stop part way through the form, we keep what you entered so far for the same purpose, and delete it if the request is not completed.
We do not send you marketing, and we do not sell your details to anyone else.
Recipients
Your details go to:
- the buyer we name to you, and only after you agree
- the companies that host this website and store our records for us, under contracts that protect your data
Retention
We keep your name, phone number, email address and IP address for 12 months, then delete them. We keep a record of the request without those details, so we can count how many requests the site receives.
Copies, corrections and erasure
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and you will get an answer within 45 days.

Analytics without cookies
We count visits with a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies or identify you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Opting out under state law
Buyers we introduce dealerships to may pay us a referral fee. Because of that, a few states class handing your contact details to them as selling or sharing personal information. Send one email, or use our opt-out page (linked below), and it ends; the date we act is recorded.
Residents of states with access, correction or deletion rights can use them free of charge and without any effect on how we treat them. We never use form details to target ads, and the site is aimed at business owners and managers, not anyone younger than 16.
Proof of consent
Complaints over phone calls, text messages or emails may be filed long after the fact. For that reason we hold a five-year record of the consent itself: the email or number, the timestamp, the IP address, the page and the exact wording you agreed to. Names and contact details still go on the normal schedule.
Dealership records
We never request or accept dealership files, exports or samples. Anything of that kind sent to us by mistake is deleted unopened, and we let the sender know.
The opt-out page handles any request to stop a sale or share of your details.
